John and I have had a whirl wind of good and bad things happen this past 2 months~ But recently I thought back at every thing that has happened, and I came to the conclusion we have had all our major events happen in 3's. It started with a Really great event, Good event #1 Thanksgiving, when my brother, Hyrum and his wife Tiana brought their three & a half children the 15hrs to see us. That was a great blessing, but suddenly the week after they were gone we found that our sewer was backed up. Bad Event #1~ and the whole mess that followed. Good event #2 Our neighbor blessed us greatly with his talents, and helped us dig up our pipe and replace as much as we possible could. During all the clean up of that mess Bad Event #2 occurred. Of course the loss of my husbands job. It was a huge blow which to me seemed like could also count for Bad Event #3, but in view of this post looking back it also was a really good thing that happened in our life. It was a great opportunity to redirect ourselves and our family in our priorities, and overall direct. It has been stressful. Can't lie about that, but it has been refreshing for me and John I think to see life in the way it is suppose to be seen. We find that money and the false stability that we all are guilty of enjoying is not what truly matters. As it has proved to us it could all be taken in an instant, but our family, our true divine happiness is still there with us and it can never be lost. Especially if you have the wonderful knowledge and testimony of the fullness of the Eternal Gospel That is of Our Father in Heaven. Anyway our good Event #3 is a combination of a few Different events that I feel make up our #3. We were able to spend ample time with John's Nana & Papa when they came to visit from Hawaii for Christmas, and when his Nana had to be taken into emergency surgery for removal of her gal bladder, we didn't have to worry about the stress of John's job holding him back from being there for them. Also, while we weren't sure where the next job was going to be, and still don't, my older brother and Grandparents have blessed us greatly with the opportunity to come to Oregon and work on my brothers 100yr old house that he has stripped down to the bare bone of the house, even having to replace some of that bone because of dry root and termite damage, and having to re support the entire structure from the underneath, digging that out as well since it was very unlevel and unstable. Hyrum has brought us out to Oregon to have John run all the new electrical with the hopes that he could some how find a financial institution that will lend him the money that he so desperately needs to complete the house so he can move his family from there tiny one bedroom apartment where he and his wife and 3 kids(Very soon to be 4 kids) are snugly living into there 5 bedroom 100yr old home. He hopes that if he finds that then he can afford to keep us out here a little longer to help finish the house!!
I am sending out this message and plea in hopes that those who read this will include in their prayers Hyrum and his family that they may get the financial help they need and also in turn will help my little family be of use to Hyrum, and we can survive another day!!! I hope that these prayers will be a help and comfort for all of us, no matter how they are received and answered.

We're glad you're here and we plan on keeping you as long as we can, even if he have to keep a child or two hostage so you can't leave!
Maren, your so wonderful. You are always talking about how blessed you are when your going through the worst of times. I wish I could have your attitude sometimes. I am so glad you are there helping and I hope everything is going good. We miss you here. Love you.
Wow, so you've moved? Or just temporarily located? (Unless Tiana has something to say about it.) I ditto what Teresa said... Way to see the good in all things! We could all be more like you! Good luck! Where are you staying?! In the teeny-tiny apartment with Hyrum's fam?! In the gutted big house? A hotel? Inquiring minds want to know! :D
