Our Kitchen Remodel~ The concept of a Great Design

John and I acquired our new kitchen cabinets through trade work with my brother. Not only did John do all the electrical work on my older brothers hundred year old home, but we were fortunate enough to trade our work for a set of show cabinets that my brothers cabinets business was pulling out of a Granite store that had them up as a display with their granite counter tops. Thanks to my brothers genus abilities to design and organize kitchens in spaces, he was able to fit these cabinets that were set up in this display...

our POOR excuse for a kitchen

This is our Laundry room

This is the view from our front room. This half wall will be taken down and opened up to the front room.

The idea is we will take down our half wall along with the pantry. Allowing the kitchen to open up to the front room. Our water heat that is sitting in the closet next to our Cabinets will be relocated, and the closet taken down. Once the space is opened up it will create enough space to have room for all the new cabinets including a large 'L' shaped island.
