Bandon, OR

My mom had originally planned to be at the birth of Paisli. She had it scheduled to come on the 21st of Feb. and be there just in time for Paisli's due date. Obviously Paisli had something else in mind. There timing was still perfect. Hyrum was able to do a little trade work for an amazing rental house in a beautiful little touristy town right on the coast called Bandon. The house had floor to ceiling Bay windows that overlooked the Bandon Habor, the River that met up in the harbor as it flowed into the Ocean, the coast line, Old Town Bandon, and The Cliffs and Mountains that jetted right out of the sea and carried on into the mainland. It was a real treat that Hyrum was able to get this right at the same time my Mom and older sister Elisabeth were coming to visit and meet little Paisli for the first time.

We had a great first weekend there. Tiana's younger twin brothers, Dallas and Weston, and Mom and Dad came for the weekend. We were able to walk down just 5 min. to the Harbor shore line where we all did some exploring. I have a weird obsession with rocks, and if you have ever been to the coast you'll find that those are among the most beautiful colored rocks. So I went a little crazy on gathering my rocks, Braxton and Hyatt throw rocks as far as they could into the harbor water, John hunted for sea shells, Tiana took awesome pictures, and the babies crawled around tasting rocks, and the youngest one(paisli) slept.

We later went to the beach at low tide to see if we could find any sea creatures and star fish.

Finally Nana and Steve Arrived for the rest of the week.

Elisabeth joined us later in the week. We all spent alot of time just relaxing and hanging out at the Bandon House, and enjoying the veiw. I had a blast trying to spot the harbor seals that played in the bay on a daily bases. They were up to twelve on day. I most just loved the relaxation part of it all though. My mom and I got to tour down town and shop around for souvenirs. We spent time with Elisabeth also doing all sorts of touristy things and the kids had a blast. Poor Tiana though had to have surgery that week only two weeks after giving birth. We felt it was a good thing that she had a lot of us around to help with the kids, but it was so rough on her.

I just want to tell my Brother Thank you soo so much for that fun experience! It was wonderful!! Love you guys.
