On a lazy Sunday afternoon, I was feeling very claustrophobic and craving the outside. John and I decide to take a stroll up the Provo canyon to the Bridal veil falls. While getting ready to head up there John thought it would be fun to invite our neighbors, The Wiley's, to come with us. We all packed our stuff for a fire and marshmallows and headed up the canyon. When we arrived it was windy, which I hadn't planned on that, but luckily it was a nice cool breeze. John had decided to bring the dogs along which was a good and a bad thing. Braxton hadn't taken a nap during the day (which we totally regretted) so he fell asleep on the way up to the canyon. When we got him out of the car he did nothing but cry and whine the whole walk up and back from the falls. Our little dog Coco got taken turns being drug up the walk way by the Wiley twins and there younger brother Cayden, and John struggled with Braxton while holding on to lucky! once we got to the water falls there were a million and ten people and there dogs there(literally) so it was not very thrilling to be there. Our little dog wouldn't hold still, and lucky was getting overly excited and kept barking and whining at the other dogs (which just because of his breed makes people nerves, even though he is so old he can barely walk and it's apparent.) We finally made it back to our cars a quickly as possible and headed under the bridge to Nuns park where we could hopefully relax around a fire. It didn't occur to us that the boys would be all over the place, and Braxton, because he was so tired, would continue to whine non-stop unless he was getting what he wanted. The wind practically put out our fire, but it made fast coals for great cooking of hot dogs and marshmallows. Jaiden was the only one not getting in to trouble, but he did go unnoticed. When I picked him up out of his car seat where he had been sleeping peacefully, I notice that every inch of his back and side, all the way up to his neck, was soaked. YES he had exploded right out of his diaper. It was honestly one of the worst I have ever changed out of both my boys. It was a lot of fun trying to get him out of the soaked outfit without getting anymore of the mess on him, but I seemed to manage it(don't ask me how) and cleaning him up took a hundred and one wipes. Needless to say, we were ready to go back to our houses and just relax. We ended up going back to the Wiley's house, since they have an awesome backyard and a place to rebuild our fire. The boys had a lot more fun there since we didn't have to keep as close of an eye on them, and we topped the night of with a yummy cups of Hot Chocolate. It was a lot of fun, and great memories to boot.

Braxton would have been happy if I was there.... Kidding. At least you'll never forget that trip.
